"I recorded an album of 9 songs with Madalena. For all tracks I had either finished bass lines or more or less mature ideas. The first song I sent her was the one where I was least satisfied with my ideas for the bass. She created a bass track out of the "chaos" that I was really fascinated by. The whole process and communication was highly professional. Madalena was able to immediately deal with my criticisms and suggestions for changes and was able to adapt to them perfectly. So it was clear that the other songs should be recorded by Madalena as well. Her playing is extremely precise and very creative with a lot of empathy for the respective music, no matter if it is about finished bass lines or new ones to be developed. The songs are from the genres Funk, Soul, Pop, Samba, Bossanova. I am looking forward to a new collaboration soon."
